Airport transfers in Benidorm
Benidorm is a long-standing favourite amongst holiday makers, and it’s easy to see why. As the main attraction on the Costa Blanca, Benidorm boasts two fabulous but busy beaches; the Poniente and the Levante. The weather in November and December is changeable and cool, a little cold in January and February, but gets warmer during March and April. From May until October it stays hot and is a great sun trap for those people looking to top up their tans.
For a family holiday, Benidorm is perfect.
Boasting several theme parks, aqua parks, and nature parks, all ages will be relentlessly entertained. Dolphin and sea lion shows offer a fabulous day out, and parrot shows are an alternative for fans of overland creatures.
Browse the local outdoor markets on Wednesday and Sunday mornings, but come armed with your best haggling skills! If something doesn’t have a price tag on it, be prepared to haggle for your leather goods, ceramics and tablecloths. The flea market at El Cisne is primed for bargain hunters and is located just outside the main town.
For an overview ‘Blanket Tour’ of the town, get yourself on a ‘Green Tour’.
These are free and can be accessed simply by picking up a brochure from a street corner. The trip is free and if you’re lucky, there could be beer, wine and a meal thrown in. The trips offer a chance to see neighbouring villages locally famed for their almond, lemon and orange groves.

If you’re willing to venture a little further out of the main town, the Canelobre Caves are worth the 40km trip. Brilliant lighting enhances the dramatic effect of the stalactite and stalagmite rock formations and the cave acoustics make it an unlikely but popular venue for concerts.
Benidorm comes alive as the sun goes down, and the nightlife is something to behold. Whether you’re looking for a quiet meal and a drink, or to party deep into the night, your tastes will be catered for. You’ll find shows ranging from Karaoke to drag acts, from disco to salsa. If it’s a more refined feel that you’re looking for, superb international cuisine or local tapas can be found with ease.
If you need a pick-me-up after last night’s revelry, there is no better way to refresh than by sampling the countless water sports on offer locally. Windsurfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, waterskiing and jetskiing are available at a number of locations for participants of any ability and experience level. During the summer months lessons are available if you wish to develop your skills. Alternatively, if you’re an old hand you can rent some equipment and get out there on the ocean at your own pace. For fans of a dryer sport, tee it up at one of the two nearby 18-hole golf courses. One thing’s for sure, there are plenty of choices for a 19th hole in which to unwind after a round of golf in the sun.
The neighbouring city of Alicante is the place to go if you’re looking for an extra thrill.
Paragliding is a staple of Alicante visitors and you can book a tandem flight with an instructor if you’re a first timer. The hills are safe for launch and you’ll sample spectacular views of the Med.
For a break from the hustle and bustle, head to the 10th Century Santa Barbara Castle. This is one of the largest forts in Europe and offers up some truly majestic views from the top. Within the grounds you can visit dungeons and a palace, and on Friday and Saturday evenings there are free concerts for the public starting at 10pm. These are wonderful relaxed evenings to sit back, unwind and enjoy the music surrounded by enchanting views. Continuing the historical theme, Alicante also offers a number of monuments and churches. Pick up a few brochures from the tourist office and pick and choose where you want to go. The Spanish tradition of bullfighting is engrained in the soul of many locals, and the Museo Taurino (Bullfighting Museum) offers something a little different.
