How do I request a quote on TaxiFinder?

Go on TaxiFinder, and fill in the form at the top of the page with your trip and personal information. Then you will receive a confirmation email. We advise you to add this email address to your contacts to avoid spam. We send you an email with a link to your temporary online account as soon as a transporter has made a quote.

Finally you simply choose the best offer and accept the trip online.

If you have any problem with your reservation or with the driver, please contact us through the online chat or by email. Our customer and after sales support personnel are here to assist you in case you have any difficulties.

When do I pay?

You do not pay on TaxiFinder. You will pay directly to the driver. They may ask you to make a deposit in advance or to pay them directly during the trip. It may be in cash or by credit card. Methods of payment are determined by the taxi company and it is advisable to ask the driver by email or by phone when you make your booking.

How do I find the driver at the airport?

Your driver will advise you by email confirmation how you will be located at the airport.There are various ways to do so depending on the company but usually the driver has a board with your name on it.

What happens if my flight is late?

Some taxi companies may charge you a late fee while others do not.You should ask the taxi company directly and negotiate with them.

Can I change or cancel my transfer?

Cancellation policies depend on the terms and conditions of each transport company.Please inform your driver directly and discuss the matter with him.

How much luggage can I bring?

Generally the size of the luggage is not a problem. The majority of our transporters have and extensive fleet of vehicles varying in sizes. Fill in the number of bags you have in the formulary on TaxiFinder; the driver will be automatically notified of how much luggage you have. Notify them also of the size of your luggage to get the right offer.

What should I do if I do not receive any quotations?

If on the unusual occasion you do not receive any offers, we send your request to other companies. However, if for some reason(perhaps your departure date) you still have not received an answer or quote, please contact us through the chat or by email. TaxiFinder’s customer team will contact them for you.

What types of vehicles does TaxiFinder have?

Our partners have different types of vehicles such as: taxis, high-end vehicles, limos, minibuses, coaches, luxury buses… The prices vary according to how luxurious the vehicle is.However, you should check your quotes carefully;sometimes the cost of a limo is not any more expensive than a taxi! What destinations can I enter in the quote request form?

TaxiFinder has the biggest taxi community in Europe and also has partners in the United Arab Emirates, South Africa, USA and Canada. You can request airport transfers, ski transfers or any transfer from one address to another as desired.

What should I do if I asked for a quote but I do not need the transfer anymore?

If you no longer need the transfer, just inform the driver about the change.

What if the city I am going to is not in the booking process on TaxiFinder.

If your destination is not found on the form,try entering a bigger city close to where you are travelling. If that does not work, please contact us through the chat, we will make every effort to help you.

If we are a group and we want to rent a bus / coach, how many persons can be accomodated?

You can travel with as many persons as you want! Indeed, the majority of our partners have large fleets including several buses which you can rent according to your seating requirements.Coaches can be provided for group transfers or sightseeing tours.

Why should I provide my email address and phone number on TaxiFinder when I request quotes?

We do not use your personal information for any marketing purposes. We need the email address for the purpose of facilitating contact between you and the driver so that quotes can be provided. If your email address is wrong or in case of emergency, the phone number is used as a back-up for the transporter.
