Airport Transfers in Las Vegas
Like a mirage in the middle of the Nevada Desert, is Las Vegas.
Big, bold, noisy, luxurious, busy, exciting and out of this world. When you holiday here, there won’t be enough hours in the day for you to see everything and join in all the fun.
So, after a long ‘plane journey, when you step in the arrivals hall, your TaxiFinders.com personal chauffeur will be waiting for you. He’ll load your luggage into the boot of the limo and whisk you away to your hotel. No waiting for other ‘planes to arrive, people to clear customs and passport control, and then find the transfer coach. Taxi queues can be quite long and who wants to wait in a line for the next taxi to turn up. You can arrive in style and comfort, knowing that your TaxiFinders.com taxi, or if you prefer, a mini bus, has been paid for in the UK. No wrestling with foreign currency, or lack of it. Check in to your hotel, quick wash and brush up, and then hit the town!
Most hotels on the Strip are themed – the Wild West, Egyptian, Italian, Chinese. Nearly all have live shows in the evenings. They are all luxurious with indoor shopping malls, water fountains, casinos, restaurants, cafes. There are laser shows and fireworks shows – ask in the hotels for the times.
Loads of freebies to be had – free gambling lessons, free drinks in the casinos (as long as the waiting staff think you’re gambling), free transport up and down the Strip on a mono rail, shuttle bus or tram.
There’s a huge salt water aquarium and indoor rain forest at the Mirage Hotel; a permanent Cirque du Soleil at the Treasure Island Hotel; Lions in a glass enclosure at the MGM Grand; a circus at the Circus Hotel; walk into the Temple of Ramesses II at the Luxor Hotel; watch the gondolas glide down the canals at the Venetian; the Paris Hotel has a replica of the Arc de Triomphe, Avenue des Champs-Elysees and a half scale Eiffel Tower; dancing water fountains of the Bellagio Hotel operate from 8pm to midnight. Ever seen a moon jellyfish, or a golden crocodile? Well, you can at the Mandalay Hotel.
Work your way along the Strip, pop into every hotel and see the shows, exhibitions, shops, displays. And don’t forget your camera!
To view the whole of the Strip, go to the top of the Stratosphere Tower and, on a clear day, you can see the snow on the peak of Mount Charleston.
The Liberace Museum houses 400 pinball machines – all working and ready to be played. Enter for free, the pinball machines cost 25c or 50c a go. Fed up with pinball, take a trip down memory lane and have a go on an early 1980s video game!
If you fancy a trip away from the hubbub, one of the main tourist attractions is the Hoover Dam. A trip along the Colorado River through the Black Canyon on an inflatable raft is a relaxing way to spend a few hours. You can swim in the river or have a dip in a warm spring. Look out for the ospreys, great blue herons and desert bighorn sheep.
Las Vegas is such a happening place, the time will gallop by
